got any pics of the piping from the s/c to the bottom of the engine?
did you use a 45* pipe off the blower to the straight piece?
(i wish i had the extra cash for your suspension parts but the wifes b-day is in 2 weeks)
what did you use to put a bead on the pipes? can a machine shop do it for me or should i just buy something to do it myself?
No secret - nothing special either. Just '96 GSX 750f Katana. A buddy of mine owes me some money, and I need a bike, so I'm getting it for just a couple hundred. It needs new fairings (don't care, will run it naked), battery, and needs the carbs cleaned (obviously not a problem for me hah), some seafoam, and a little TLC and she'll be good as new.
I needed a starter bike and this was perfect.Probably picking it up tomorrow - my buddy, zx3focus on here and elsewhere, is an experienced rider and is gonna drive it back to my garage OR use his bike trailer heheh.
To keep this on track with tech/intercooler: Does anybody know what kinda paint you can use on an intercooler that won't drastically effect its cooling capabilities? Do they make special paint for intercoolers? I might wanna put some text on there, or perhaps black the bottom portion that protrudes from the bumper so it will remain a super sleeper
