My 94 GT Coupe 5spd, 3.73, O/R-H, Flowmasters

VS.

2000 GT Vert 5spd, Magnaflow Cat-back

I am thinking in the 1/4 I will loose, but I wanted to check here and see if anyone has any advise on how to at least make it closer!

It will be a drivers Race. I ran an 02 Gt vert with a Volant Cold air Intake, and an Slp Catback and i believe it ran a 14.6 to my 14.4 at PR.

See sig for my Mods. I did not have the exhaust or clutch at the time....

next time the track is open is 5/4...we shall see then I guess.

We got $25 bucks on it, and a commitment to no mods besides plugs, wires, tires, filters, and lubricants. I have a feeling he will win, but hey, its worth a little gas money to know without a doubt. We want to do a best 2 of 3, but we may or may not have time depending on when we get there and how willing the track guys are at letting us run like that. I love how some of the guys that run the track love to follow the small rivalries and actually encourage them, and then others get pissy if you ask to line up next to a certain person or car.

Drivers can vary a lot - I have beat a couple zo6's before but that doesn't mean my car is faster...

Assuming equal drivers, it will have a very slight edge on you. It probably weighs 100-125lbs more than your car. You very well could get him off the line but when the 1/8th mile starts creeping up, so will he...

I hate to say it but your probably going to loose...PI cars are pretty quick. It will be close til the 1/8 but then he'll start walking away. Gears are 3.27 vs 3.73....not a huge difference. The race will be won or lost at the light...a good launch is key
