Do I need Cam Gear Kit.

I decided to hold off on the 31 Splin Axel and dif. and put VT Stage 2 Blower Cams in since the engine is going to be out. So Im getting the cams and springs but do I need the Cam Gear Kit also? It says you need them if you have pressed on cam gears. Do I have pressed on cam gears?

Also how much extra power will I see with these with stock heads?

You do not need cam gears or the bolts.
Being an '04,you gears are bolt on,and VT supplies new bolts,and washers with there cams.

no, it won't.

*1991 to 1998 & 2001 to 2004 are Romeo engines and ALL Romeos have bolt-on cam gears

*excecption are 1996 Crown Vic's wth a Windsor engine and 1999 & 2000 Mustangs wth Windsor engines, as ONLY Windsors have pressed-on cam gears
