DOHC swap into my 98

[Trick98GT]

So i'm interested in swapping a 32v into my 98 and i came across a lincoln Continental(4.6L DOHC Intech).
What's the difference between this and the DOHC used in the 99 - 02 Cobras?
What does intech mean??

I've run into a couple of snags dealing with parts related to the swap...
Can I make my X pipe for the 98 SOHC work with the 00 DOHC engine?
Can I reprogram my stock computer to handle the new engine?
Basically, I'm trying to find things that won't be compatible with the new engine before i have my old one out and I'm S.O.L.
Anyone who's done this swap, please feel free to fill me in on all the little misc. stuff i'm going to need.

The Conti engine is FWD and CANNOT be adapted to a RWD applicaiton.

ya, the block will not meet up with any rwd tranny. either get a cobra block, or a mrk8 block.
