Hey all, just found this forum. The other I day I did something totally stupid. After buying my old lady a new 06 GT, I liked it so much I went and bought myself one as well. The reason for my post is this, without getting too wild, any suggestions on some mild upgrades to the engine dept without needing forged rods, etc. Thanks in advance

Welcome. That's not stupid at all! That's just plain smart!!!
I'd go for a handling package including lowering it a bit, cold air intake, pully swap, and an aftermarket exhaust. Put fatter tires in the wheel wells to match the lowered stance and you are off to a great start imo.

edit: The article focuses on Steeda products but there are a lot of manufacturers to look into.
