Hell yeah!! Nice man! On a side note....do you think you need the 24 lbers? Your setup is almost identical to the one I'm working on right now except I still have my stock 19s. How much porting did you do to your E7s? What kind of dyno was it on also?

I probably dont need the 24#ers, but at the time I was doing my stuff I got them pretty cheap and didnt want to leave anything on the table, and I was under the assumption 19s were good only to about 300hp, so i didnt want to push it.

As for the heads, I bought them from a guy who had ported them himself, from what I understand there wasnt a lot done to them, just some mild porting, exhaust bumps removed, that kinda thing. I would have loved to go aluminum or get some Gt-40p's, but i couldnt afford aluminum, and there were no p's available at the time for a decent price, and I got the ported E7s for a mere $300, so I couldnt really turn it down.

And the dyno was a dynojet Im pretty sure, but not 100% positive, i didnt even think to ask, when i pick up the car tommorow Ill check out the print out and post my graph.

Searched around for some numbers..........

94 GT - 186rwhp and 263rwtq bone stock
*w/3.73s, cai and full exhaust 214rwhp and 280rwtq

94 Cobra - 241rwhp and 285rwtq w/exhaust & cai

97 Cobra - 261rwhp and 260rwtq bone stock

94 Cobra - 231rwhp and 276rwtq w/cai, shorties, 14*, and flowmaster mufflers

03 Mach 1 - 266rwhp and 292rwtq bone stock

Who's to say what dynos and what not they're all using, but that's what I found, supposedly the machs were way underpowered too and could get up to the 280s rwhp after a few thousand mile break in?? 268 and 303 is a solid 13 second car though, 12s with sticky tires and good driving would be easy I'd imagine

My car did 215/279 when I got it, with off-road H, equal length shorties, and underdrive pulleys.

Stock cam, misaligned ports, and a pretty significant amount of blowby on my current setup got me 265/300, and you're right on with the 1/4 times. See my sig for what it's gotten me so far. Better tires & a tighter ring seal would probably gain me 2 tenths, but that's a lot of hassle and $$ for little gain in my book. Both sets of numbers were from a Dynojet, just different shops and about 4 years time apart.

Why'd they start it at 3k? AF looks good, right under 13 for the whole run Now I'm really looking forward to saving up for my steeda cam and doing all the port work on my heads

I know, I hate when they do that, one side for the torque and one for the horse power. They do that for a variety of reasons, the practical side of me says its so everything fits nicely on the graph, but the cynical side of me says they don't want you to think one "line" is so much different than the other.

Not necessarily, it all depends on the smoothing factor the operator is using. The dyno graph is like writing computer code in that "garbage in = garbage out." On the other hand, you could be exactly right. Might be time for an MSD blaster 2.

Great numbers, I think she is running well!
