Just got back from the Dyno after installing a TMOSS ported lower.

Before dyno run was with a stock Cobra upper and lower:

431rwhp / 424rwtq

Only change was a TMOSS ported lower and went to a Tubular GT-40 intake:

465rwhp / 448 rwtq

Picked up 34rwhp and 24rwtq from an intake swap.
All with the stock cam and GT-40 heads.....

Before TMOSS:

After TMOSS:

This shows the runs together, but one more run was made to arrive at final numbers to get the A/F a little better, but you get the idea.....

Nice job TMOSS

Nice gains, appears to have been 10 degrees warmer before, but less humid... Either way thats a nice improvement...

Not to mention that combo is getting it done for the parts. 465 rwhp with Ford intake and heads and a stock cam...

Very Nice!

I believe that intake's powerband is alot higher than the GT-40. As far as flow, that would be a question for TMOSS or somebody else with more intake knowledge than me......

So, for the newbs....this is a TMOSS ported Cobra/GT40 lower intake.....not a ported stocker , right?

Just for clarification for those who might think otherwise.

Thank you for the compliment - it's a nice hit for the buck. N/A guys get 15-20HP usually with a good street engine.

Actually, I have Explorer intakes (3) and a mint Cobra intake in my own stock that are untouched - just need a GT40 upper.

I would have to go with the GT-40 on that one.

I think that might just be a marketing scam. Remember how Ford used to say "the Cobra is good to 350hp, and the GT40 is good to 400hp"? Was it seriously a 50hp difference, and where did Ford get those numbers? Most people will say that the lower is the real flow restriction, and since they all use the same lower... See where I'm going with this?

Anyway, I have yet to see numbers, so I think it would be a valid experiment.
