Dayton, Oh
Well, the project Ranger I was working on to put a 331 stroker with a Lightning M112 Eaton on top has burned to the ground. I have yet to find out what caused the fire, but the whole thing is gone.
I'm posting this for anyone who was waiting for an update as to how the engine ran with the blower.
Now, I did have the motor all broken in, and I did run it many time on the street. And all I can say is that the thing was a monster. My brother has a '98 vette, and I can tell you that even at 4000 lbs, the truck would have held on until about 70-80mph. So I would have been able to beat him on the street. I was guessing about 400hp at about 6psi.
But it's gone, and I never got to race. So no track numbers.

I'd still be glad to answer any questions about the adaption of the blower. So send me a pm or email.

And it's off to different things for me.

I'm getting some money, but I'm not getting enough to pay for what I put into it. But I did get a ton of expierience, so I'm surprisingly not that upset.

As for how I mounted the blower:
I made an adapter from 4"x2" box channel with port holes drilled to bolt to a cobra lower. I then had a plate that matched the blower outlet made, and welded that to the top of the box channel, and then welded sheetmetal over the extra openings.

I have a few pics, but nothing to substantial.
I'm going to try and get them posted on a website some time soon.

But for transportation I just got an '05 GTO and I plan on building up a '95 5.0 with a 408 and a bunch of unique mods. But for now I'm going to hold off on mods for a bit.

I'll probably get the stang at the end of the year, maybe next year.

When I get the site up and running I'll post the info.

For now, I'll try to answer any and all questions with the best detail possible.
