So, I'm selling my ATV on eBay and I finally got a bidder. Only, this bidder has no feedback and is from Poland. I specified that it's local pickup only. I guess I'm just really concerned as to what I should do. It doesn't seem like a legit bidder to me. How can I keep from getting scammed? I have other people asking me if they can just pay me my listing price to buy it. I don't want this asshat to "win" the auction and end up not paying me or some BS. Because then I will have to pay another $35 or so to list it again. Should I cancel his bid and see if I get any legit bidders? Because if I don't, there's one person who will probably just buy it for what I'm asking.

If i were you i'd just end the auction and sell it locally if you can get what you want for it.

I doubt that the guy from Poland is gonna come and pick it up.

You could let him win. and just make sure payment is right. not sketchy. and clears first. and stick with the pickup only

If it were me, I'd cancel his bid and block him from your auction.

I think I will just probably cancel his bid because if he wins he could be an idiot and leave me negative feedback or something. Sounds too fishy to me.

Yeah, it will be one of those deals where he tells you that he is sending payment in excess of the purchase price and for you to cash the check, keep a little extra for yourself and send the remainder to him and he will make arrangement to pick up the ATV. Then the check he sends will not clear youll be out the total of the check and an ATV. No feedback and bidder from out of country = Cancel the bid.

Should have set up the auction to block any bidders who have registered accounts that originate from outside the country.

You should cancel the bid, probably a scam.
