I own an 03 V6 Mustang. Recently we've been having some issues. As I'm driving down the road the car will seem to reset itself and kind of restart. We noticed the negative terminal was sparking, I fixed that issue and the car seemed to work perfectly after that. But last night it started doing the same thing again (it was fixed for about two weeks with constant daily driving). Also, it seems to slip in and out of gear at times, I don't know if it's connected or the transmission itself is slipping. Hoping for an easy fix because I definitely don't want to get rid of the car. Please Help!

I think the easiest place to start would be checking the charging system, make sure it's all on par.
And since you have had groundwire problems-I'd start chasing them all down.

I think it might be either the mass airflow sensor or the alternator, the alternator works but may not be distributing enough power (I have a bit of aftermarket) we tested it yesterday and it started out at 18 and went down to 15

Check the grounds. You should be able to trace the cable from the battery and make sure all of the chassis grounds are tight. Have the alternator tested to see if it is charging. The mass air flow rarely goes bad.
