It's really just a simple matter of raising the idle enough to where the car will not die when a cam with such a low LSA is installed. I'm sure you could tell JMS to raise your idle to 800-900 and the car would be drivable on the street.

But I second the TwEECer idea. It will save you money in the long run--one example is that if you got a TwEECer you wouldn't have to buy a new MAF...you can make your MAF that is currently calibrated for 19# injectors work with any other size of injector. So you could just keep your MAF, stick some 24 pounders in, and use the TwEECer to make your old MAF work with the new injectors. Plus, if you ever add mods later, you can make adjustments for them via the TwEECer instead of having to get your chip reburned by JMS.

You can also do this with the Pro-M Maf recalibrator that is way cheaper. Or send it off and have it recalibrated for 100 bling.

Yep, but a TwEECer has endless benefits. It'll save you money in the long run if you want to make the effort to learn how to use it.

By the time you'd pay JMS for a chip and buy a new MAF for your injectors, you could have bought a TwEECer and could tune your car for as long as you own it without having to pay anyone else a dime.

Yes a TwEECer is the best answer.. I just don't feel as if I'll have the time with all the ASE and GM Cert Tests I'm studying for to learn how to efficiantly use it.. plus I really just want something that I can set and forget for now..

I don't plan to mod the car much if at all after all this is done.. I plan to maybe make it look nicer.. so yes it would be good for this.. but I fail to see longterm benifits as this point. I'm too pennyless to do much more after this.. maybe down the road if I get a promotion.. or a raise.. Right now I just want the car to run and to be bad.. and put a scary hurtin on some people who think they are the baddest thing to roll out on four 14 inch wheels.. :D that was a joke.

But if a TwEECer is the only way then I guess it's 2005 until I can get all this stuff bought..

what elevation are you at.... maybe you should go to modular depot and correct your times for SAE

I guess if your cam is that good, you should start your own company. You could call it D.A.R. Dumb A** Racing.
