edelbrock manifold finally released

There are two different intakes available one is a carb specific intake and another is the EFI version that has the injector bosses. They have been out for a while now I got mine back in June/July.

Either way this really is for those people making power into the mid 6k RPM range not stock cars peaking at 5200 RPMs looking for a cheap intake.

thats a high rpm intake! the only reason that procharged car made that much more power is because it was reved from 5200rpm on the first dyno to 6500 on the second with this intake.

if they reved to 6500 with the plenum and the stock intake it prob. would have made the same power as with the edelbrock

5200 was where peak hp numbers were made. The dyno run made it to 6200 and was falling. 6500 was after the intake install and its peak numbers. The car would have made even more power w/ a better set of after market cams. If you would like I can get the two dyno sheets for you guys to look at.

oh so your saying that it picked up after 5200 thats all. instead of dropping power in the higher rpm ban it picks up alot. i guess its good for anyone that has a high spinning built engine

a smart man would buy the manifold WITH the wilson throttle body injection and get the advantages of carburetion AND injection.

Meh I'd never want a TBI vehicle.

Just a personal preference, but after having worked on a TBI vehicle before and knowing what performance they don't give, I'll pass big time.

Rather have a carb if it were between those two...:nice:
