I had some free time today so I got a few things done on the II.
First off I bolted a C4 with the II bellhousing to a 302, added a stock efi intake, broke out and installed my hooker 6120's, along with my NOS motor and transmission mounts for one last test fit before cutting a hole in the firewall for the EFI harness. The vacuum port on the very top of the TB just barely touches the hood, the TPS nolonger makes contact. the correct engine angle and additional weight have made for more clearence than when Nat posted a picture BUT not quite enough clearence. If my motor mounts were used and had settled a bit then it would all clear.
I have also removed the dash, and the heater, AC, and blower assembly today to prevent damage to them while cutting my holes. I still have a long way to go I need to get some parts, paint the engine bay, replace the heater and evaperator cores, and more. I hope to get some pics up on the wiki as I progress.
