Has anyone used the EGR eliminator/simulator found on ebay? see website

I just purchased an intake and TB off a fox and I plan to install it on my 95. I plan to delete the egr and I wanted to know if this eliminator works or if it's even needed. I just don't want the check engine light on if I can help it.

I know two people that have bought one of those. One of them had no problems to this day, the other it worked fine for a while and then the CEL came back on. It seems like it is a hit or miss sorta thing.

I've had it for about 9 months and it works fine to this day.
