I'm not sure how many of you have tried this, but man was I impressed! I have read alot about it and decided to try it today with my battery charger. I used a five gallon bucket and put three gallons of water and three tablespoons of baking soda in it. Everyone recomends washing soda, but the baking soda worked fine for me. I used electric fence wire to make a coil that sat in the bottom of the bucket kind of like a big stove eye. Now that I know it works I will have to come up with a better design. I left the metal out on purpose to see how fast it will rust again. That seems to be the only drawback to this process. If you haven't tried this I would recomend it if you have enough sense not to electricute yourself.
