Guys,
Question for you Mustang experts out there. I have a '93 GT with a Vortech supercharged 347 and 5 speed. I need to yank it to freshen it up and it will take a while since I have limited spare time. I was thinking about throwing in a carb'd 302 for simplicity sake so I can drive it in the meantime. It's actually going to become my wife's daily driver so I really don't need quite the performance anyway. I found a complete motor nearby that is actually a '74 302 with 25K miles on a rebuild and it supposedly runs perfect. Depending on what I find when I tear my 347 down, I may just part if out and leave this new (old) engine in there. What would be invovled in that swap and would it be worth doing?
