Ok, ok, i know ya'll are thinking "god not another 2.3l swaping for a 5.0"; but this isnt that kind of thread, I recently came accross a 93 crown vic 'ex - cop car' i dunno anything about miles and such, however, i know that even in that big ass car, that engine still hauls ass. Now, being the fact that it is a 5.0 "supercharged" engine, is it possible to cram the engine into an old fox body, I'm looking to take it from off the street and put it on the track. Now, is such a thing possible without spending to great of an amount of money to do?

Isn't the 93 Crown vic a plain old 4.6L... They had 5.0L's up to 91 if I remember? Where do you get the idea that it's a 5.0 "supercharged" engine?

cause it says 5.0 on the intake manifold, and the current driver on the engine says that it is, the cop cars were supercharged as far as research ive done on it. I dunno specific years on his car with it.

Cops aren't that lucky. Research what a supercharger looks like and then look at that Crown Vic's motor again.
BTW an 80 amp alternator is not a 'mod' Not trying to be hard on you but others might bust your ballz for that one.

93 with a 5.0L sounds fishy... maybe someone added a 5.0 emblem got any pics? Unless the American versions had some 5.0's left but I doubt it with the more round body change...

I'd look for a Lincoln Mark VIII and swap a 32v into the fox www.modularfox.com (I think) but it isn't an easy swap.
