Yeah i found a dead coil on #3 during testing so another dead one wont surprise me... I may just order a set and call it done.It’s likely low on fluid. I’ve always had to add especially after running it through gears to get the fluid pumped through. Hopefully the other issue is a dead coil.
make sure the starter isn't hanging, that has happened to meHmm... today i filled the block with water and calibrated the WB sensors so i could get feedback. Things went well at first car started and settled into idle, then the engine started to shake.... I think i have a missfire or a dead cylinder on #2, that one header tube is cooler than the rest when i touch it. I also have an odd whirring noise i noticed when i shut the engine off, now i have not had an auto in the car for a long time and dont remember what a transmission with low fluid sounds like.
The alternator bracket is not going to work out, trying to use the stock one and the placement of the TB is making things difficult, the belt wants to be in the way. I am going to delete the bracket and make one with a manual tensioner and call it done.
I wont lie the shaking and noises worry me a bit... I was occupied with keeping it running and did not see what the oil pressure was, I am likely over thinking things and the JY LS coils are no good but i cant help it...
I can't read this morning. From what I saw you might be getting about 3/8 less engagement on your starter, that wouldn't cause a noise while running thoughbut i am using a manual starter on an auto??

Good on you. Now it’s a countdown to how long it’ll stay N/A.Ok so noise is gone, turns out the ign timing was very retarded. After adding 50* to the tooth count in the software (apparently I counted very wrong the first time) she purrs along at 800rpm. Once I get some things fixed I'll do a video.
