It's like he has cyber turrets. He just randomly blurts out some weird stuff, or posts some off the wall picture, and before you can say anything, he's pushed his grocery cart full of cans over to the next thread.

He does have some good stuff,...look in on raceoholics thread, where he found space station dock pics that look so close to what's going on in Scott's transmission tunnel is beyond me.

My replacement throttle cable just arrived! Tomorrow is going to be a good day.

Yeah I'm going to take this opportunity too reroute all the vacuum lines while I'm at it. Things get kinda out of hand when your just plugging away trying to get it fired up to test.Youre gonna wanna keep this one off the header...
Oh, I understand that completely. I was just feeding you crap. Like I said before, I find it pretty darn impressive what you accomplish out in your driveway.
I just have to wonder how difficult the tuning would be with a BOV on that setup instead of a bypass. (disregard if this has been discussed already)

FINALLY! Got to drive the car today.
After some minor tweaking of the cables adjusting of the brackets and general riggery, I drove my f'ing car!....
After the short trip I washed waxed cleaned and protected. Then laid the top back and got sideways for a long drive.
I actually pulled some timing out of it, with everyone's blown head gaskets and whatnot I played it safe. Now at 8 psi 24* timing.
After reading thru my datalogs, I realized my throttle never went past 83%..... wtf?
I tested it in the drive and sure enough my tb never opened up all the way, I really have to mash the gas hard... maybe I need to adjust the bracket some.
After some more tuning and another break down (powdercoat) I will be making an appointment at a local dyno shop so I can get some numbers on paper.

-306 balanced 3000miles on it so far.
-gt40 heads did my own porting 2.02 1.6 valves (valves backcut) with fully adjustable valve train
-e303 with 1.6rr
-cobra intake again home ported
-65mm and a 75mm tb.
-m90sc. With homemade sheet metal inlet outlet.
- 8psi 2k-3400 rpm, by 5800 tapers down to 5 psi.
Any guesses?
I bet peak torque is around 3k

I like this neighborhood ^^ but I'm going a little more generous with 375/410 just for giggles. I'd guess more but we're not using the almighty turbo here...

With your current timing at 24° total advance I'm going with
344/358
If you bumped timing back to round 30 or so during tuning session then I'm going with
366/379
