Yes oe from a bronco slightly larger than the stock pulley. I did it this way because my balancer is fluid filled.... can't machine that one. What's the deal with the crank pulley? Is that just an OE pulley with a 36-1 wheel tacked on?
what a first day....I can always add another idler if needed between the ac and ps pump.I’m not for sure-but it looks like (in the pic.) when the ac clutch engages-the belt would slip.
Soo for the next few days I am in class with EPRI to get my cert to teach instrumentation....what a first day....
Anywho this morning I snapped this pic, opinions please.there's lots of room between the belt and water pump pulley so no issues there. I'm holding an idler pulley, my thought is adding it there. Possibly setup as a manual tension.![]()
Will the belt contact the ac pulley enough in this configuration once I have it back on the car?
Yeah it is what of it... I like to think of it as natural sunscreen.Whoa!! There is a Sasquatch after all, and he's messing with your engine Steve.....
Wait,.......
Is that your hairy arm Steve?.....Do you have to shave your hands?
Never mind.

I like that belt path better BTW, and I'd try to put that idler as far inboard and as low as I could get it to create the tightest wrap around the crank possible.Soo for the next few days I am in class with EPRI to get my cert to teach instrumentation....what a first day....
