ESCORT G Timer 1/4 mile and HP measurement

Is this thing better than the Gtech Pro. I hated that thing it was so off on the 1/4 mile and HP. Seems to have good reviews

It'll have the same problems guy. As far as I know, these devices can't tell when you have wheel spin which makes a huge impact.

For a 'good review' I want to see drag strip times with the device times.

I guess I was hoping for one that was actually accurate I still havn't been to the track I definately have to go more accurate and only 20$ for a couple runs

I have both the Gtech pro and the competition model. I don't have the Competition model calibrated right since I haven't been weighed yet, but wheel spin makes it -very- inaccurate. I used it at the drag strip this past Weds, I had a lot of wheel spin on my runs so it gave very inaccurate numbers. It logged my shift points though, I love that.

If one of these devices can realize there's wheel spin and not get confused, then it'd be a good buy.
