This stuff is truly amazing and IT WORKS!! Apparently, it was developed for use by the military and then was released to the general public once they saw how well it worked. I picked some up from a local auto store and it truly does what you see in the video on the page. It's safe on plastic, rubber, and vinyl. The best part is, aside from being biodegradeable and safe for skin and eyes, you can REUSE it! Once you're done, just pour it back into the container and use it again on some more rusted parts! I know, it sounds like I work for these guys, but I'm just supporting a great new product. Definitely worth checking out...

+1

i dunked a vacuum solenoid that was completely stuck from 40 years of being in my cougar (see sig). After a day i pulled it out and it looked brand new, and wasnt seized up anymore.

You can only reuse it once or twice, though, ive found. And i had a little coffee filter recycling system to filter out the rust chunks left at the bottom of my container.

It does work though!

OK so if the egr vacuum solenoid (the thing on the passenger side strut tower) is seized up this stuff will free it up? even if its got electrical connections in it?

Evapo-Rust? I am currently looking into it!:nice: Keep posting stuff like this, that actually useful- my computer at the house has been down, since like Memorial Day, and when I get a chance to check out whats been up with the fella's, I find remarkably few new things on here, that weren't before:shrug:- this is the stuff thats fun to find, nice catch, brother:nice:

Thanks! Rust stalks all of us car guys like the grim reaper, so I figured we could all get some use out of a product like this. :nice:

Hmm looks pretty good, now if only I had enough to submerge my entire car in.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing. You can order it in industrial size drums. You could probably dip body panels and suspension parts and stuff if you had the motivation and money to do so. :flag:
