Twilight Zone, TN.
It's time to ditch the MAC's on my Capri. I'm wanting to quieten the car down, but keep it sounding nice. W/ the F-cam, longtubes, and H-pipe it sounds wicked at idle now.... but I've grown to hate the loudness when I'm cruising or playing with it.

I've been looking at two options but don't know how they'd sound, so I'm hoping the Stangnet faithful could give me some opinions. Keep in mind, I'm looking to quieten her down. I will be keeping the LT's and H-pipe.

Option 1 is the Magnaflow exhaust. MagnaFlow 15630 - MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Option 2 is the Force II (3 chamber I believe) from Flowmaster. Flowmaster 17203 - Flowmaster Force II Cat-Back Exhaust Systems - Overview - SummitRacing.com

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

I run Mac equals, Prochamber, and Magnaflow. Love the sound, nice when cruising and you can hear it when you get into it.

ive got the flows on my vert with turndowns and get lots of complaments on them. I dont get the drone that most complain about, but my cars ragtop would let the sound on through and not drone. Only problem i have is that they have the turndowns so the sound is right under me, i wish they were catbacks.

I'm in the same boat as you. Love the loud healthy sound of non catted H-pipes with 2 chamber flowmasters, but now that i'm getting a tad older, the car could be quieter a bit. I've heard Magnaflows are a great option. I have turndowns which have to go soon! Back when I rented I didn't mind pissing off a few neighbors, but now that I own, i kind of want to save face JUST A LITTLE lol. If you get MFlows, let me know how it turns out!
