Final shifter interation

I have been working with the shifter in my 2000 GT 'vert since I bought it new. I, like most people, hated the stocker. My first change was to install a Hurst Billet Plus-tons better but still not perfect. Next was to install a Pro 5.0, a real improvment over the Hurst but the stick was too short and I had to reach for 3rd and 5th. Tonight I installed a Tri Ax handle on the Pro 5.0 shifter and BINGO! Now it really is perfect. Great combination.

Many people have claimed the same - it's a great combo! My wife wanted the reverse so she has the 5.0 handle on her Tri-Ax. So we have an extra Tri-Ax handle. Maybe I'll try it myself this weekend on my Pro 5.0.
