Guys this is the WORST thread i'm writting.I'm in a really bad bad mood right now.I've been waiting for sooo long to get my car on a dyno...i wish i never did:nonono:
Dyno Results :
1st Run with all mods in sig but withought the Xcal2 Tune
Max rwhp 220
2nd Run same as first Max rwhp 217
3rd run with Xcal2 93 Octane Tune
Max rwhp 237.2

Is this sound right to you guys!!!?? i thought having a manual GT should atleast produce 230rwhp STOCK:mad:
because i was seriously expecting 250-270rwhp :nonono:
NOTE: The weather was Really Hot and the dyno used was an australian made Dyno called: Dyno Dynamics. Its a 4wheel drive dyno type like the ones used for EVO's

nope sounds about right to me.
I'm familiar with the dyno you mention they do tend to read a touch lower but not alot. Just remember dyno's are for tuning, take it to the track and see what it runs. :D

without a tune on that dyno yes it is about right. dont get caught up in dyno numbers though man. Mine suck.. but I ran 13.0 in a vert N/A on worn street tires.

Get some track times this fall and you'll feel much better.

I think your expectations are alittle high...you don't really have any power mods...
pulleys=5hp
mid-pipe=5-10hp
plenum/tb=5hp
flowmaster=0 and have been known to rob hp...
CAI=0
so don't expect a 30-40hp bump.

:stupid:Most of the advertised HP you see for mods is :bs: . They get you all pumped up with high expectations and then you see what they actually do. You will not see 270+rwhp without doing cams at a minimum from where you are. I had full bolt ons plus VT stage 2 cams and only put down 286rwhp. Don't be too down, listen to everyone, a dyno is just a tool, it's the loose nut behind the wheel that makes the car go fast :D .

dont feel bad man i expected about 240rwhp also on the dyno. I put 232rwhp with the mods in my sig but my torque was higher than urs i put down 274tq. I also richened up the fuel though because I thought i heard it pinging so who knows I probably screwed myself over. But just take it to the track and let her loose.

If you want to compare your numbers with those obtained on a Dynojet, get dyno'd on a Dynojet. You can't really even compare Dynojets to Mustang dynos although most people seem to think the MD shows numbers about 12-15% lower than a DJ.

Don't focus so much on the absolute numbers on any given dyno; the relative jump of 17HP with the XCAL2 tune says way more than fretting over not holding up to other dyno's numbers. As 01Steeda said, get to a track and see what it'll do...you'll probably be surprised.

FWIW, my 02 GT made 228HP stock on a Dynojet and sits at about 268 now with my mods, none of which are real power adders...

when i had your mods i was at 240...

i guess u guys are right :(
well for the guy who asked about my Xcal2 , i got it from MustangTuning but i got the tunes from the Great Mike from Xcal2 tech.And yah 17rwhp just from a 93 tune is not bad at all :D
I will get another dyno test when its colder i bet i will smash these sucky numbers i got :) well hopefully.
i'm currently editing all the vids i took at the dyno shop.I will post them very soon:) :SNSign:

I have about every bolt on you can throw on a mustang minus cams and with a handheld tuner it only put down 239 and 268.........Now if you get a custom dyno tune you will be amazed! How about 263 rwhp and 304 rwtq out of a 4R70W..!!! at 4100 rpms gained 58 more rwtq and at 4300 rpms gained 40 more hp with 25 at peak and 40 at peak! You can get the numbers out of bolt ons but you need to tune the timing and fuel per every rpm range not just Wide Open Throttle! This was tuned by a level 4 SCT tuner!
