First dance with a Firebird

This LT1 bird and myself were at the track doing about a 65 roll. He dropped his gear and I did also and we had at it. Anyway, I steadily pulled away from him. About 6-7 car lengths from begining to about to 115ish where he let off. What are those cars putting down at the wheels? How do they compare with the LS1?

Yeah I was kidding LOL... LT1 ftl though, they aren't the best motors. They can be made to have power, about like a NPI motor can make power, after a lot of work (or a lot of nitrous ).

How do you start at a 65MPH roll at the track?? Do you floor it from a stop in the staging lanes and pass through the tree at 65MPH??


Or are we talking a road racing type of track??
