i have a off road x-pipe and spin tech pro streets dumped, cold air kit, electris fans, and 275 nitto drag radials, and a bad 1-2 syncro. i ran a 14.7 at 93 is that good or bad?
What was your 60'? May be some improvement in that area. Of course a bad 1-2 synchro probably hurt some too but I would shoot for a 14.5 with your current mods.
How hard were you launching? Roughly what rpm? With drag radials you can leave the line a little harder than street tires. I cut 2.0's or 1.9s with street radials, but thats with 3.73s. Get your 60' down and a 14.5 is easily within reach, and with a 1.9 I would think you would break into the 14.4s with relative ease.
Yeah its not bad but the 60' could be better, but still not bad. Of course I am no one to talk. My 60 foot sucks ass. Well Nitto's suck ass on the track. Its funny. I love em on the street and for the wet traction and mileage but damn.....I can't hook for nothin with them on the track.
That combo should be good for low 14s easy, especially with drag radials if you can make them hook. I ran 14.7 my very first pass also, but all my car had was 4.10 gears and subframe connectors with a C4 and on street tires, and that's through a stock '85 carbed 302. With practice you'll shave that down a lot.
Too many "variables" to say good or bad. At elevation with an actual clutch issue thats good. At sea level with a "fictional" clutch issue (seen this before) then its not so good!
