Well, still gathering parts for the SN95 brake swap. I'm having a hard time paying $9 here and $11 there for simple brake line adapters that costs $2 each at the parts store. Where I'm lost is what fittings to get.

I know I need a 3/8-24 to 7/16-24 adapter for the front passenger's side brake line. I also know that I need a 7/16-24 to 3/8-24 adapter to use the SN95 rear hoses with the stock rear brake lines.

What I do not know is what type of flare to buy the fittings for. I see fittings for "bubble" flares and "inverted" flares. I believe I need "inverted" flares. Is this correct? Are all the fittings on our mustangs "inverted".

By the way, this is for my fox in the sig. Sorry for being so cheap, I just can't stand spending $20 plus shipping for something that costs a total of about $6 locally.

Thanks for any help!

Joe

Yeah, they're all inverted flare to my knowledge. I guess I was lucky-I bought the MM lines for mine and they required no adapters. Then again, I didn't use the SN95 rear lines.

The connections at the MC use bubble flare (also called double flare). Everything else uses inverted flare.
