I had a nasty squeek coming from the right rear of my car. It got progressively worse. Thanks to various posts here, I checked several suspects. It wasn't the rear trunk speaker panel, it came from the emergency brake cable holding clamp.

The clamp is just forward of the rear wheel under the car. The brake line was moving back and forth in the clamp and it showed signs of wear. I loosened the clamp (10mm socket) and covered the cable and clamp in grease and re-tightened. Took it around the block and thankfully, there is no squeek at all anymore.

I have a nasty habbit of pulling the e-brake when I'm still rolling, while parking.

It might be something simple. I have 75K+ on the car & the suspension is fine. Lots of crappy roads around here too.
