Fox Fox build and projects 1993 gt

Here it is so far, did the rear main seal, 6 puck stage 3 clutch, firewall adjustable clutch cable, pulled the thermactor tube and flipped it and plugged the holes, bypassed smog, cleaned and painted bell housing, put new cross member in because the old one was destroyed some how by the last owner. New tailshaft seal on the trans and a short throw shifter also got all the pieces for the exhaust to make the delta 10series single chamber catback . It's going together slowly but I have a good friend is helping me because I'm a cripple.

..also if you see that connection that's cut, it's because my neighbors dog was under my car and decided to eat the plug off my car while the trans was out lol

hey guys quick question, now that the car is running and the clutch is broken in, i have noticed the car is running rich or at least smells like its running rich. It's not throwing codes at all other than the air bag light blinking but i think that might be my clock spring. is there anything i should check? i have read that i should look at the ground wire for the O2 sensor which i believe is located at the back of the fuel rail? an orange wire that grounds to the body or block? or is it just the nature of the car now that its a straight exhaust with no cats, it doesn't bother me i just wanna make sure theres nothing wrong with the car as far as sensors or something. any help would be much appreciated, thanks guys.

idk if this is normal but my idle is around 600-700 when out of gear , when i push the clutch in and put the car in first without engaging the clutch the idle goes up to 1000

Yea it was that connector. But I rewired it and sealed it. I'm pretty sure the car was doing this before I did all the work to it. I should prob just replace that sensor and see what it does. Would the ground for the o2 sensors being bad cause the car to run rich without throwing a code?

There is a switch on the clutch for the NSS that is probably the cause of your problem. This switch in wired in parallel with the one on the trans. That way if the clutch is in or the trans is in neutral the computer will know there is no load and adjust the anti-stall feature to prevent the high idle you are seeing.

Anyone have any pics of where the orange ground wire is that comes out of the bunch of wires that grounds the o2 sensor harness? I need to check that. I read that could be the reason for the car running rich without throwing a code
