i want to change over to the fox timing cover and water pump and get a march alternator bracket to clean up the engine bay. i'm going to get rid of the power steering as well.

my question is i know that the fox pump rotates the oposite direction, is there anything i have to do to make it work? i'm pretty sure thats all i need to change to make it work but if not please let me know.

Thanks,
scott

Aero foxes use a reverse rotation pump. What generation of TC are you considering (using something from back in the standard rotation V-belt days)?

I'm going to use what ever year i need to be able to use the march alternator bracket. my smog pump, a/c, and power steering will all be gone so want the be able to use the reverse style water pump to make the march bracket work. will switching to the reverse style water pump require any other mods? i'm pretty sure i just need a timing cover from a 87-93 fox stang. right?

thanks,
scott

Yes, in order to run a Fox pump, you'll need a Fox timing cover AND crank pulley.

Dont expect to run a stock SN95 fan with the Fox setup either. I ran my stock fan for a bit, but the crank pulley was rubbing on the fan, chewing away at it. I had to get some Flex-A-Lite fans, which get pricey quick.
