I ordered some 285/35/18 Goodyear GS-D3's for my back wheels last night from tirerack and today I was just wondering what size tire I should go with on the front when I need new ones up there..

I was thinking maybe going to a 245/35 or 255/35?.. or should I just stick with 265/35 like what's on it?.. i've got the 18x9" FR500's on the car, if that'll help out any.

I've been thinking about BFG KDW or something of that sort, but if a cheaper tire will be just as good for up front then that'll be great too!

Suggestions for tire sizes and specific tires up front would be appreciated. Mainly looking for something that'll last a while and be really good in the rain.

Help me out Stangnet! :SNSign:

Those same goodyears would look sick up front...and should have INSANE water traction.
Be careful with the tire size though...if its too different from the rear (tall wise) the ABS will not work, and the light will come on. I would stay away from the 245s since your on 18s.

Thanks for the advice!

I'd like to get the Goodyears up front, but MAN those things are expensive!!! $255 a tire for the rear

Still $226 a tire for 255/35/18's for the Goodyears.. altho I know for a fact they'd be damn good in the rain!

Anymore suggestions for tires?

You may like the kumho MXs. They suck now fro the rear traction, and the rear slides a bit in the rain (but they are 285s...no tires that big like the rain too well lol) . They would probably be awsome for the front...and they have STIFF sidewalls that are great for cornering. And they are like $200.
