Wow, your car is starting to look like mine!!!

Are you going to use that factory K-member??? A nice tubular unit would look real nice. I hope you know what kind of hole your digging, because I did the same thing. Sometimes I think I see light at the top of the hole, but it's just a tease, it's pitch black down here.

my new dart block finally made it's way to my garage today. my journey has just begun...:owned:

Looking real nice so far...

And I thought redoing my interior was going to be a job... you got yourself a ton of work there... but it will be sooo awesome when it's done. I scraped all my sound deadening out of the interior too... glad yours came out as easy as mine!

best of luck!

Yea the factory K member will be retained....its a NMRA factory stock rule thing.....really its helping me money wise, but it would have been really nice to throw in a nice lightened piece.

It's seeming like a black hole too!!!:( ...........my QA 1 adjustible struts from UMI performance should be here either today or tomorrow. Hopefully I can get the engine compartment scuffed up a bit and get it primed and painted this weekend and start puttin this sucker back together. I'm extremely EXcessive about some of this cleaning and repainting sometimes. I have to pinch myself and try to remember its a race car. And that sometimes it's cheaper and better to just "get it back together".

I think I wound up throwing most of those cookies away....not enough time to stop and eat. heck I've only drank like one beer during all this disassembly too lol... More Pictures soon fellas....Maybe as early as tonight!
thanks for viewing....and thanks for the comments:nice:

oh yea, and yes I did find a few quarters, dimes, nickel's and a bunch of pennies. I have a old glass I found in a parts car...that I collect it all up in. One day there may actually be enough to buy a 6 pack! lol

damn what a project, definatly get more pics ad it comes along seems fun, id love to do that sometime, looks like your gonna have to fill the holes and paint the engine bay :D

well I'm not filling the holes. My buddy says I should but it's just not that important to me. Plus it would add weight! lol

I do however want to do some wire hiding. If i can take time to find that post and actually read it!
thanks
Jack

Here is a little update.....remember the old oily engine bay that looked like a monster took a crap on it........well "how do you like me now?... monster":D It isn't nearly as good as some of the engine compartments on here, but remember this is just an old "Race car"! Thanks for viewing.

Looking good. I started a minor project this morning. I took off the rad. support brackets and am painting them aswell as the intake plaque thing. Nothing as big as your project, justa lil fixerupper

The holes came it in that way.

mob.........yea that is a clean compartment. I hope my wires are as hidden as those. That looks great! I plan on Spraying the engine compartment with paint this afternoon. or tonight. Hopefully it will turn out well.

RycheGT, dont worry bro....it will go back together. Just takes a small step at a time.

grey5.0beast,
I'm one of those people who take off one bracket and it turns in to a frame up restore lol.............I really really have to pace myself when I start to remove a bracket! :)
