fuel filter.. when to change and how much should i pay?

40,000 - 50,000 miles. My Jiffy Lube charges $40

I could only imagine how little fuel is being pulled through that filter after 40K miles.
Every 3rd-4th oil change.

I change mine every 15-20K. Because I am a clean freak!!! Go with a WIX fuel filter! They are some of the best!!!

I think it's Fram @ wal-mart. $6 and some change. I changed mine in my cougar every 15k miles.
