Come turkey day, I will be helping to install a full exhaust on my friend's 94 Cobra. The only thing the car has done to it is a CAI, with a Pro-M 75mm. Everything else is completely stock, down to the cats.

We are installing Mac 1 5/8 ceramic longtube headers, Mac 2.5 inch high-flow catalytic H-pipe, Mac 2.5 inch Flowpath catback.

What kind of gains can he expect from this full exhaust replacing the completely stock exhaust on the Cobra?

I had a 70mm TB, Pro-M77, catted x-pipe, Flowmasters, pulleys and I got 242hp/285tq at the wheels. My buddy dynoed on the same day, the difference in his setup was longtubes and offroad x-pipe. He made 272hp/315tq.

I would guess 15 to the wheels. Why cats if your here in Florida do with out?

He's moving up north to an emissions state soon. I told him to buy the catted pipe, and buy an offroad pipe for now. When he moves, sell the offroad pipe... he doesn't move for a year. Money's not an issue for him.

Sometimes, he just doesn't listen to me.
