Does anyone think lowering my mustang about and inch or so with 18x10's all the way around would be a good idea?

Cant stagger because I will need to rotate the tires.

Budget. P.S. I saw a 71 Mach 1 with wider rims/tires all the way around and it was beast. especially with the 351

I have 18x9.5" and 275/40-18s all the way around on my S197. If I could do it all over again, I'd go with 18x10s and 295/40-18s all the way around. Fwiw, Roush Mustangs come with 18x10s all the way around, and they fit nicely. Good suspension and nice wide tires radically transform the handling on our cars. :)

I have a Roush with 18x10 all around. It is lower ed 1.5 in the front and 1 inch in the rear. This car handles incredibly well and the same size tires all around allow for limited rotation because they are unidirectional.

wow dude I love it. I dont have the money to do this right now because i need new tires really badly and I have a normal job and going to school. But eventually I will do exactly this. But right now Im saving up for a tuner. and also since mine is a gt/cs I am getting a street scene ducktail spoiler and putting on the classic strip in the back of the spoiler. Im going to paint it at my frnds shop to keep the cost way down.
