Gear Differences

Well, of course it pulls a bit more, since it gets to the higher RPMs sooner, and you have to shift a lot sooner. If I'm not paying attention, I keep reving it too high. As far as mileage, mine is not too much worse around town. I'm getting about 16 or so mixed city/freeway, down from about 17, and highway is probably 22-23, down from 26 or so with the 2.73s

i have 3.55's and it pulls through the gears hard and fast, first is done in a matter of a second. i dunno about everyone else but i only get about 160miles to a tank of gas, and about 100 miles to a tank if i drive it like ya should :rlaugh: its mostly around town miles

I would not get 4.11's unless you have a aod and drive highways not much at all.I have 3.55 and they are a good all round gear and you can still drive around in rain without losing the rear end alot while turning in town after red lights.I hate when it is in 2nd and drops to 1st while in middle of turning and spins side ways in a heat beat.I could only imagine what 4.11's are like. The 3.73's is a good compromose between the 3.55 and 4.11.Just remeber this is a street car not a 1/4 mile car.Top end means alot on the street and highway drops from 55(you all know what I mean) is everything.
