I got a phone call today from my boss, and he broke the news to me that the engine that will grace the bay of the '91 Mustang just laid down 518hp with the supercharger at around 5000. 541 ft. lbs. of Torque  It hasn't even been chipped yet!!

I don't know how I am going to keep this car on the ground!! They are talking about doing all kinds of stuff... subframe connecters for one, I know I have to rebuild the rearend, and I am trying to get my hands on a Lentech tranny. This car is going to be the death of me!!!! But I will have fun doing it!!! :D :D

I will keep you guys posted....

Egads woman...

Brakes would be nice, but I hope you own stock in BF Goodrich (or other suitable tire company!!) and a small middle eastern oil producing country!! :owned:

I guess it's time to get my rear in gear and get back to moddin the 'stangs up....

Congrats! :hail2:

Hi Shelby,If the engine is making too much power for your everyday driving style,I know this guy with a LX that would love to trade engine with you, think of all the speeding ticket you will save in the long run and you don't need to cut your hair. lol

k.

I will take helmet hair for that much power!!! I think that is a pretty good trade off, don't you?

I ain't trading this enigine for anything, this car is staying with me until I die....

I already call my friend over at SSBC about a brake set, I haven't desided what I am going to buy from him yet. All I know is that I want red calipers!! :D

Later,

Shelby

Yeah I think I heard that red calipers provide the most stopping power. Maybe paint the pads and rotors red too??? Like the dude with the VW :D Seriously though, congrats on the car, make sure all the roads you drive on are straight and about a 1/4 in length
