Getting Flowmaster 40-series mufflers, 2.25 or 2.50 inch?

im sure some of you have seen my posts about how my slp loudmouth and upr offroad x-pipe sound like a sick joke..its digusting and i need a change fast!..anyways i found a exhaust shop that will cut my slp resonators and weld in some mufflers..I found some flowmaster 40-series mufflers at a great price..first off, i have the slp loudmouth..dont know what inch the pipes are, but do i get a matching muffler size? i think slp is 2.50 but not sure..next, how much RWHP am i going to loose now that im putting in flowmaster mufflers?let me know thanks.

Should be 2.5". I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that the SLP is 2.5" like most of the other catbacks.

Your not going to lose any horse power you'll have alittle more power high end. Your car will feel faster because it will sound better.

cool..i found out today that they are 2.5 for sure, um are flowmaster 40 series the only mufflers that give that "mustang sound" or do dynomax mufflers do the same thing?or the borla mufflers..

IMO nothing sounds better on a Mustang than Flowmasters. They are very deep and aggressive sounding.
