I'm sorry it's phosphate coated gears in the tranny. Look in the sticky.

My 94 cobra with 390 gears,cold air ind.,headers,off road,flows,& PMS went 13.4 & made 250 HP & 291 max torque NA & 12.23 330 HP & 413 MAX TORQUE WITH SPRAY 150 SHOT

I have the 96 Cobra hood and want the cobra front bumper so i can have foglights that are worth turning on.... but I'll never put Cobra emblems on the fender. Just doesn't seem right to me. It's bad enough my AFS Bullitts have Cobra emblems on them and people that are stang stupid say,"He put Cobra wheels on his GT".

I personally would go with the 302 emblems.... Just to remind them you aren't a 4.6

Hopefully soon I'll be able to answer your question about the Stall Converter.

I got the cobra appearance kit from 50resto.com

It gives you the enitre Cobra front end. I'm going to go with 98 Cobra wheels too. That kit gives you the 96 hood and Cobra headlights. But like someone said, the bumper still says "MUSTANG GT". The 13 inch brakes would be sick, too bad they're so expensive.

I guess it just seems like if I'm doing all this stuff to the car to give it the Cobra look, why not put the emblems on it? Theres plenty of clone cars in the muscle car world (ie; the 70 Chevelle SS). As long as you don't try to sell it as one or go around claiming its a Cobra, I don't see a problem with it. But thats just my opinion.

I thought the 94/95 Cobra just said Mustang on them they didn't have the name Cobra on them till 96 .

I've always liked the way the cobra front bumper looked, but didn't know what to do w/the emblems. I think it will all look good, whatever you want, for me, just going to get more power, then do all of the body work w/cobra emblems.

Don't be sorry . The sticky is neither 100% complete nor authoritative. The phosphate coating was phased into all WC T-5 transmissions after 1993. The difference in 94/95 is the caged tapered bearing between the input and output shafts, which is how the Cobra T-5 got a slightly higher torque rating. Still a weak tranny in any case.

i got 410s shift kit,2600 stall and some other small bolt ons.headers exhs,pullies kn,and i havent lost to a cobra yet,,up tp 90mph that is..or any other gt..inc new ones.i raced around 15 ..and my aode is nothing close to sloppy.it chirps 1st 2nd at 1/4 throttle.i ran 13.8 1/4 ..that cant be that sloppy can it?

what?do you think @90mph i would be dumb enough to say i went 13.8?

i was saying my races never went over 90mph ..
id have to get to 90 at what .02 sec..0-90 in 2.o2 sec to run a 1/4 mile in 13.8?
i traped 102

I was asking you what your trap speed was. Read my post again. WHAT TRAP SPEED BTW (BY THE WAY). Still doesent add up. 102 MPH takes some power, well more than you have.

dont hate me cause my cars faster than yours..ive no reason to lie to people i dont even know...im 33 years old,not 17..
ok so maybe i have a couple more mods.its a long list to have to type everytime..BTW<BY THE WAY>how do you keep the mod list on the bottem of your post?and my timeslips on allfordmustangs same user name...
