I have searched and searched and found a couple of combo's set up like mine, but always w/ aftermarket heads -

MODS LIST:

0 miles new SHORTBLOCK
CAI
C&L 76mm w/ A9L computer
70mm Throttlebody
COBRA upper and lower
Ported and Polished E7's, shaved (compression) w/ bigger springs and new valves
E-303 Camshaft
3.55 Rear gears
FMS Underdrive Pullies (prob no power here)
Mac Headers
Off Road H pipe

I know you guys will come through here, I would LOVE to know what kind of Horsepower I will come out of this build with, and maybe some 1/4 mile estimates as well - OH YEA and if I can beat an SRT 4 with the mods I have listed.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH -

I just dont want to lose to a friggen neon

so what did you run 13.7 with? if you ran 13.7 w/o all that stuff in your sig... Do you think that I'll be able to beat one. That is basically what my whole thread is about to me, i just feel like my car isn't a muscle car if it can be beaten by a 4 cylinder girl car, and it sometimes makes me sick to my stomach. No more backing down to neons...

Does anyone think i'll beat an SRT4?

if your that obsessed and bothered with a car on the road, then you might as well sell your mustang.

there is alot of neons/imports that will run faster then a 13.7, getting all bothered over someone having a faster car is stupid.

just my opinion. thats why i built my car with an overall picture in mind, not to go and beat certain people.

about your question, srt-4 runs 14's high 13's stock depending on conditions/driver. i think you could beat one on the street pretty easily if you launch good, they dont launch well. the midrange and topend is there advantage from what i read.

All i know is if you add a couple of type r emblems and a big vtec sticker you should give you around a gazillion hp at the wheels.

the average srt-4 from stock to a few bolt ons will run mid to high 13's. but they will trap around 105. from a stop you got a way better chance. learn to launch good
