Hi all, I have an 02 GT. The instrument cluster reads 20mph, the tach reads 1k and all the other gauges are maxed out---------even when the car is off. I get no MILs, upon start up, all cluster lights operate. The tach and speedo do move upon accel and revving. Any suggestion?

Did you change anything since it worked?

Try reseting your computer. Unplug the battery for like 15 minutes. Step on the brake pedal too for a few seconds after you unplug the battery, it'll help drain residue power.

Once you reconnect the battery and put your key in, ALL the gauges should go to MAX then drop back to 0.

I have done the cluster test, but have not tried the battery disconnect. Thanks, hope it works.

I think everything in that cluster is driven by the computer , so I would say either the computer or the cluster has taken a crap on you .... take it to a dealer is my advice because ive never seen anyone else with the problem you are describing .......
