Going Drag Racing, need to know how to do a burn-out with stick

A line lock is a little device that when you turn on the switch and apply brakes it only locks the front brakes or back depending on how you have it hooked up so this allows you to do a burnout without destroying your rear brakes, it's also used to keep manual trans guys from rolling into the lights when staging their car.

I think he may be confused. My '93 5.0 (T-5, and the usual bolt-ons) best time in the 1/8 was 9.0 sec.

Like I said "(actually a few yards less than an eighth)"
Did not get out and measure with a tape. But the times were given to me by
the track, not me. Also why I stated that the 1/4 would probably be 17 seconds.

what kind of tires do you have? if you don't have slicks or drag radials, you have no business doing a burn out.
:D Speak for yourself, The burnout is just as much fun as the rest of the race :D What's a drag race without one? :rlaugh: If you want to do a burnout with any tire other than slicks or drag tires, GO FOR IT !! :nice:
