Going to Dyno Take a guess before I go!!

heres what mine did

Hey I have an 03 Trueblue GT 5spd 87 oct and dynoed 224rwhp 269rwtq stock at the wheels on a dyno jet. I later added a bbk h-pipe and went to 236rwhp 278rwtq a 12hp gain and 9tq gain. Then swapped to a MAC prochamber h-pipe and went to 239rwhp and 280rwtq a 3hp gain and 2tq gain over a bbk h-pipe and 15hp and 11tq gain over stock. Then I added UD/TA at 12deg plus the mac and went to 250rwhp and 291rwtq a gain of 11hp and 11tq. Then I added a 9"K&N filter but no CAI pipe and went to 252rwhp and 294rwtq a gain of 2hp and 3tq. Then I bumped TA to 14deg and went to 252rwhp and 296rwtq a gain of 0hp and 2tq. Then I reset the computer which is :bs: because it has never made a change on any car I have ever personally dynoed on the machine. And finally played with timing from 12-18deg by 2deg incriments and makes no difference on 87oct may with higher octane. I have recently been doing some test work with C&L on the upper intake plenum and recieved great results with consistent gains of 8-10rwhp on these cars, you can see my car at www.cnlperformance.com, it is under the plenum dynos and mine is test car #2 Price Thomas. And be ready for a lower intake plenum from C&L coming in the next few months. Mines first in line for test cars.

how could u run 18 degree's of timing with 87 octane???

i dynoed 244.5 hp and 289ft lbs with just flowmaster catback and the mrt
h pipe, and silencer removed, i dynoed 236hp and 280 ft lbs with only mod being silence removed, dynos were a month apart but similar conditions, same dyno

Well if Stock is around 240 RWHP then with all of the items I listed It has to be more then 10-15 RWHP!..
here's the add ons
K&N air filter removed stock snorkle! 2-3 RWHP
Accufab 70 MM TB 4-5 RWHP
Accufab Plenum 4-5 RWHP
C&L 85mm MAF 8-10 RWHP
C&L Inlet tube 2-3 RWHP
Bassini Catted X pipe 6-8 RWHP
Flowmaster 40/2 chambers 1-2 RWHP if that
That's 36 RWHP ontop of the the stock 240 RWHP for a total of 276 rwhp I'm sure It's not that hight but it has to be close to 265 RWHP.. Anyone think this is right I mean theses are numbers that I have gotten off 5.0 magazine and MMFF or stangnet....
Thanks for all the input the dyno will tell the story soon I'm hoping it's doog news!

I'll assume we're all talking about a Dynojet and the numbers are corrected to SAE.

Stock corrected (SAE) hp - 223 rwhp
K&N air filter removed stock snorkle - 1 rwhp
Accufab 70 MM TB - 4 RWHP
Accufab Plenum - 4 RWHP
C&L 85mm MAF - 2 RWHP
C&L Inlet tube - 2 RWHP
Bassini Catted X pipe - 8 RWHP
Flowmaster 40/2 chambers - 4 RWHP

Grand mystery ball total - 248 rwhp / 288 rwtq

Post your SAE-corrected results after you dyno to see how good our crystal balls are.

So your saying Ronnie diaz was wrong when he told me For the MAF and The TB and the Inlet tube I'd see 19-20 RWHP? :bang:
He said the MAF would pull close the the same as the Plenum and TB combo like 8-10 RWHP?
And your saying the MAF is only 2 RWHP? Not much for $200+bucks
I've been reading the C&L 85mm MAF was a Hughe adder? could it be the MAF would pull 8-9 RWHP on the Mods I got?
:flag: This will be a Good Dyno! :flag:

255 is out of reach unless u have a sick factory freak...
my 98 gt was headswapped with the following power mods...

PI 2001 intake
PI 1999 heads, with p&p and triangle valve job
Steeda underdriven pullies
Steeda timing adjuster
1996 GT fuel rails
190 LPH in-tank pump
Kirban fuel pressure regulator
C&L 80mm MAF
Densecharger throttle body tube
MAC 70mm throttle body
180* thermostat
custom ½” intake spacer
MSD 8.5mm ignition wires
Autolite plugs
Autologic chip, custom burn/tune by Mustang Magic Inc.
FRPP shortie headers
MAC Prochamber offroad H-pipe
Flowmaster cat-back
FRPP aluminum driveshaft

Power #’s on MOTOR

259 rwhp
302 rwtq

Thanks I'll be over in my corner crying :(
Ronnie Diaz motorsports was wrong
.... C'mon someone say 250-253????
make me feel better :(
Anyways Thank I'm closing this thread cus Each person says less and less then I was hoping for...

yea i can tell you it doesnt run good thats for sure, it pings like a rattle snake you cant go any higher than 12 deg with 87 octane, but i was just saying that to show others who may not know. I have heard so many people at the track say i ran 14-16 deg with 87 octane and didnt have any ping noise, well you wont under WOT, but you will how ever see it on a dyno sheet and maybe if you are right by the engine hear it at the very top of the rpm near the rev limiter.
