Going to the track - some pics

I went to the track last night, Englishtown, and ran my car for the first time (for car and me driving). Got 2 runs in real quick both by 6:45. Left after my buddies 2nd run and heard it start raining after that. It is so fun I want to go back now!

edit: According to Raceway Parks' website there is street muffled night tomorrow night which includes time trials.

I went there with the mentality that I wasn't going to go all out with the car since the motor is still fresh. With Nitto DR, no burnout leaving at idle shifting at 5000 i ran a 14.2 @ 100. 60' time is what hurt me the most. 2.2 but i wasn't launching. I'm not even sure if thats a descent time for not launching shifting at 5000??? I've never done anything like that b4 but it was pretty dang cool. I'm probably going next wednesday so I'll look for the red coupe. sweet car BTW.
If you go to www.racewaypark.com then to drag schedule then october. gates open at 5, trials start at 6 i believe. I never went on a friday. Good Luck with it!

Use the rain delay to take aggression out next time...

Etowns where my 12.56 is from. I ran it into a headwind and it was raining right before the pass (yes there was water dripping on the windshield as I was pulling up). Needless to say the rain held off and there was enough traction to go 1.691 60'! Only thing Id suggest, go to Atco for a better timselip!
