Well, I have great news - I'm about halfway done with my S-trim install!

The question...
Coming up on the list is cutting the fender for the AFM powerpipe - would anyone be kind enough to take a pic of their powerpipe install, with an emphasis on the fenderwell cutting that has to be done.

The update...
I'm doing the S-trim install in stages. With a new baby and whatnot, I've got about 2-3 hours each weekend to do it, so I'm doing the whole thing in phases and putting it back to daily drivable status when I'm done for the day.

Stage 1: Test assembly of kit (Pictures)
Stage 2: A/C line bending, radiator hose and bracket mods (Pictures)
Stage 3: Oil pan tappage (Pictures)

Next up I am putting in my 42lb injectors, modifying the heater tubes, running the new heater hose and swapping on a black powercoated Cobra intake (Thanks Sam!) and of course changing my tune for 42s.

After that is the big day of installing the assembled Vortec bracket and cutting the fender for the power pipe.

Excited to get it all put together and tuned.

Wes

EDIT: I am emailing AFM today for pics as well - if they have some, I'll post up what I get back from them.

Looks great Wes!

You had your dyslexic members worried with the caption about how you were getting ready to cut hoes.

LOL, thanks. I just hope my hole comes out better looking than AFM's - it kills me to have to cut into the sheet metal. But ya gotta break a few eggs to make an omlette, no?

If you really want the hole to look good, I would suggest cutting smaller than recommended and filing it out till its right. Then painting all the bare metal so it wont rust. White wont be too hard to hie.
