Very impressive.

That car has high 11's written all over it. Just get some seat time and you'll be there, or you can fly Killer out and let him drive it for you.

Congratulations Jake! Those are great times man. I wish all my car needed was more driver experience for low 12's/high 11's...

Greg- I'm kinda wondering if the $55 registration fee is worth it for one day of racing?

I think jake is driving JUST fine!

dont pick

how to be a good driver......

visualize the car slamming into the gate without lifting the gas and work out your left lag on the leg press machine for a quick in and out

JAke, I was going through some of my timeslips and I came across my best STREET TRIM 1/4 mile pass. This was with all the seats in the car, no shortbelt, etc This was also on nitto DR's. Its VERY close to yours. Get that 60' down and look what can happen... (this was the first and only pass I made on my new 315 nittos in street form, seeing as how I managed a 1.66 60' later the same day, I think it'd have gone even quicker, but now I'll just have to go prove it!!!)

60'..... 1.809
330'....5.221
1/8.....8.055
MPH....86.22
1000'..10.501
1/4.....12.565
MPH....109.11

i guess i didn't really think about how much it cost. is that pretty high, $55 for a day? i was told that it's normally pretty expensive to race there, but i don't know how much...

Yea, considering I raced all weekend at CFR for $40 and got in 30+ runs. I don't know how many runs we'll get in at Interstate, but I'm still debating if I should go or just run somewhere else some other time.

Geez Jake....30+ runs? That's pretty impressive. I think the most runs I got in ever at one track outing was like 17.

Out of all these runs...was the 110.0 mph your highest? And what was your best 1/8th mph??? What is track elevation and what was the weather like that day? Just trying to see what your car was doing.

When I went to the track last month...I only got 10 runs in and of those, only 8 were clean (no missed shifts, botched launches, etc...). 6 of the 8 runs for me were in the 108mph range, so I know the car was comfortable in that. When I go back for cooler weather and a better tune, I'm sure I'll see 109mph.

30+ runs over three days though. My best 1/8 mile mph was 86.35 and that was on the same best run. 110 was my best mph. I think the mph is just going to get better as the sixties drop. My best run had my best sixty, best 1/8 mile time/mph and 1/4 time/mph. Track elevation is 750 ft. The weather was hot and humid. A little cooler on the last day, but still very humid. The last day was when I ran my best time.

I'm lucky if I get 3-4 runs in on a T&T night... it makes it awefully hard to tune that way.

he he... no, unless I drive 4.5 hours to run at Cecil which I do twice a year now. My "local" track is an hour from me.

Is that your closest track?

Closest one is 2.5 hours away in WI. They need to build one in southern Minnesota, there's nothing but farms down there anyways.
