Man get a good tune, i started out with 340rwhp/339rwtq put in a diablo chip and with one of the best tuners in texas ended up with 414/408. My injectors and pro m will be on by next weekend then some more dyno time i should be very impressed. I also had my electric fan temp lowerd and i put in a 160 thermastat, that really helped.

I find it possible.

When I put my car on the dyno for the first time, I put down 309 RWHP. Two hours, lots of tuning/reburning, and 7 pulls later, I left with 377 RWHP.

Damn u know what I noticed me and u both have vortechs and so does this other guy who said he thought it was possible to get that much from a dyno tune and he got close to that from his tune. I believe u man. Now i know the superchip that vortech is sending us has a really 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me'ty tune to it. Well fella's cant wait to get my car on the dyno but got major fines to pay first. She'll still be ready by June though

I am putting my gauges in tomorrow , fuel pressure , boost , A/F , hopefully I will have the money to get it dyno tuned in the next couple weeks . I cant wait to get it on their and see what its got now and what it will have when its done , If i get another 74 HP ill probably crap my pants because its already fast .

yeah, i know it's just that most people make the assumption that they are too much, without having experienced it to know what they are talking about. so i like to point stuff like that out i realize the 3.73 is a better gear for a street/strip stang, imo. but a 4.10 is still doable

It is very possible to gain that amount of power with a good dyno tune. Ignition and Fuel Maps have a lot to do with the extra power...

a tune will help a lot. You mentioned that he had suspension mods, you will need the same if you really want to go fast. Someone spraying, especially an LS1 will negate your SC power real quick. Get the tune, practice and take it to the track.

i would put the tune in front of everything. if you dont you will be saving up for a short block and the car will be down.

Better make sure it's CO2 and not a dry chemical. You'll be washing that powder out forever trying to get it clean, which it never will be.

Anyway, I gained about 42rwhp from my dynotune......

I would put the tune above all else, it's just too critical to put off.....
