got my bbk ssi intake in: PIKAGE

their not to bad to install. its just figuring out the rail set up and getting all the bolts to the right location other then that its pretty easy.. even easier if u have a buddy to help hold it up:)

5.0 mustang and super ford dynoed tested the intake against a frpp cobra intake and it out performed the cobra intake but not by much, it was also suggested in the article that it would be best used on very mildly woked over engines mostly stock with bolt ons, the article is on there web site the links just arent working for me. i am not dogging the intake just summerizing what i read a while back, the intake does impress me however, it is good to see companies trying new ideas instead of mearly improveing an existing one:nice:

Boosted that intake is the Bomb as you young folks say. lol
We gained 22hp @ 6psi just changing the intake. The car had a Vortech/Saleen intake with fuel rails that equal the rails of the BBK and the car would jump in power at 3600 rpm all the way to 6200 rpm. It was a easy 3 hours even when relocating parts. Getting the valve covers off is like a bonus and the built-in EGR like the Cobra intake is another bonus since the Throttle Body is not over the hot header. The customer can feel the difference and did not even need the dyno to verify the power. The balance of the ports has also caused the EGT on all 8 cylinders to be within 40 degrees of each other instead of 150 degrees or more on certain cylinders. I can see it being great for N/A cars since the cylinders are more balanced.

nice, well at least someone has something nice to say. it seems like all the people who are putting it down haven't even used it, and everyone who DOES have it, love it.
