if my diablo tuner deactivated the rear 02 sensors so my check engine light would turn off will this work?

Yes. The good thing about that is the Predator disables the rear O2 sensor tests, not just turns off the light. Part of the emissions/OBD-II test commands the light on and the inspector needs to verify that the light is working. If you just pulled the bulb out, you'd fail.
